You do realize that they can sell at the ask to liquidate their shares... right? They don't need to sell at the bid to whack the price down which is what you are saying they didn't do based on the volume. If they really had that many shares, they could control the price action by selling at the ask. The price wouldn't be effected, the accumulation would still be high because other people are scooping shares at a higher price while they are liquidating.
Just thought I would say how they did it if they did do it. To exit a stock, you don't need to sell at the bid to drive the price down. You can sell at the ask and the stock won't go down...
