Not in our opinion as there is not a shred of evidence to substantiate these wild theories. Those who are true believers in supposed “forced covers” and “bear squeezes” are way off base in our opinion. This type of speculation should be treated as pure fantasy on their parts.
NOTICE THEY SAY "Are there any known short positions". Maybe, maybe not. Maybe there was at one time and was fixed behind the scenes and we won't see that big squeeze, but at the same time I feel we will see a bit of a spike here before things do go dormant.
Sloane acquired 17.6 billion shares of FFGO at .0035 back at beginning of July. Vianna's latest tally is at 17.9 billion at a much lower acquisition price. If we do have some movement here, I'm sure a few longs, myself included, will sell off some of our holdings depending on how high this runs and a certain party may be buying up these shares and reap the rewards of the NMGL divi.
ALL SPECULATION ON MY PART, but you never know what can happen. eom.
