S4, do you think a buyout will happen? I am hoping not to get this post deleted as well. Do you think a buyout will happen and why is that? If you recall my post, on NAK/ANGLO and FMM, I asked why they reported ZTEM. I thought there would be competition for a better bid, but the confusing part is that it looks more that LBSR is sharing ZTEM with NAK/ANGLO. ZTEM was only available to LBSR because of Prof. Guilbert. Now it seemed much reliance is based on ZTEM for much of the deal.

I won't speculate publicly about the "buy out" what if's and such.....But IMO they (Briscoe and Company) could have done this for 2 simple reasons...1 being there is a potentially major move coming, 2. if that is the case, I would want to be able to get paid too at my time of need if/when the share price develops into what we all hope/think that it will.....There is a plethra of speculation about the issue but bottom line for me is I'm taking this as a rather bullish sign for multiple reasons that I will keep to myself, but this would make sense in the case of a buyout or a better offer in a J/V agreement i.e. More Powerful bargaining position perhaps.....

So, if they had non-qualified options at .038, and they took them, then I expect something very big is happening with a buyout, or, the JV has some interesting legalize in it to make them want to hold the shares NOW.

So,therefore, would we not want to hold shares now rather than try to flip in and out like some encourage others to do.
I would not want to be one of those out of this when it hits. I think I will keep on accumulating.

It's the cashless part of the equation (if true) that leans to the simultaneous exercise/sell strategy for a period greater than 1 year. If the option holders wanted to lower their basis using exercise/hold they would have to put up the .038 cash. To add a new twist, it is possible the .038 is assigned as compensation and they could exercise/hold with a more favorable basis. We don't have exact details but I agreee it's all good.

Imo you're closer than anyone else has been yet, at least up to this post of yours. This guarantees that the shares are theirs regardless of what happens, and if they cash them in as part of a jv, the cash will go to the company... and it could very well go to pay off the debt... being the jv partner's way of doing a buy-in. They buy the 88M shares at an agreed price, lbsr debt is paid off, and the officers pocket the difference. Not bad at all. Time to guess the price?
