You can only cry wolf so many times (meaning that the telecom recovery is here). The street now is in the "show me first" mood. And that means no real buying interest in telecoms. When does that change is anyones guess. But with the consolidation ahead that might take a year or more to complete and the gloom and doom of articles out there what happens after that, I could easily see stocks with no buying interest just keep drip drip lower... JMHO.

its ugly there. I added all those semis(lltc, amat, klac, etc) with the new money because they were great bargains and I believe the sox is going to 750. The hatred of the networkers is palpable, ongoing, relentless. It is show me time, its true. Mrvc is outperforming the other opticals in a huge way. Hlit, and ffiv had great results and are doing well. But some of this is far from logical: jnpr had great results too.

As they saying goes, its usually the most obvious thing. These managers are simple folks. They see numbers building but want more as pe's are still high. Now you have carrier consolidation. They won't differentiate a sons from a lu, initially, but will when the proof starts. Hopefully that is forthcoming. I think it is, and I also think the semis are going to do very well.
