Yes, Redhook is just across the street from San Michele, and now there is another winery next door where the Spirit of Seattle train stops on its daily sightseeing run up from Renton WA.

They have also built a 4 star motel next to Redhook which houses the new Herb Farm Restaurant. It's not my style, but if you are a foodie, this is one of the top restaurants on the West Coast. They open their reservation lines for 2 days per year and are fully booked. A zillion course diner accompanied by a proper wine for each and edible flowers decorating your plate.

So, yes the area has changed somewhat. I'm not sure what to think about Zeev's interest in the Redhook stock. It trades paper thin and I'm not so sure that it is big enough to catch any interest from the street. But they do make some great brews.
