RL made changes to the contract thru the MOU of 2009 but were of no less economic consequence to HDY.
It took them 15 months to get a deal done because there were no bribes, after Conte died in December of 2008 and Captain Camara took control the Chinese came in and that would have probably led to shady dealings but we know what happened.
To suggest the Watts brothers were dirty and going to jail may be your opinion but it is simply untrue. The truth is they developed the company saved the Guinea deal and as entrepreneurs handed it off to very respectable professional oil executives.
