Appears to be the simple rule of supply and demand. Buying pressure causes the price to rise and selling pressure causes a drop. Currently the price of jade is skyrocketing as the demand for jade continues to increase. The price of the finest jade has risen to $3,000 an once, worth more than gold. Over the past few months, the price of jade has continued to surge.
