Dr. Sunil Singhal’s clinical practice involves all aspects of General Thoracic Surgery. He focuses on lung cancer, Barrett’s esophagus, esophageal cancer, minimally invasive surgery (VATS lobectomy), mediastinal disease (including diseases of the thymus in patients with myasthenia gravis), pleural disease (including mesothelioma) and microinvasive hyperhidrosis surgery.
Dr. Singhal is the Director of the Thoracic Surgery Research Laboratory. His interests include translational research in lung cancer, esophageal cancer and thymoma. He is spearheading efforts to conduct clinical trials with novel therapies for patients with advanced lung cancer, and esophageal cancer.

In addition, Dr. Singhal is the Chief of Thoracic Surgery at the Philadelphia Veterans Administration Medical Center. He will be developing their minimally invasive surgery for the care of Veterans in the Delaware Valley.

Today we are preparing for a two day sprint through the San Francisco Bay area at the beginning of next week. We will make our first presentation to a major International Travel Group, meet with a new Verizon team and pay a visit to Google Health.

We spent two very exciting days in the office discussing opportunities to work with Drchrono and how we could use the iPad as a portable viewer to access and view patient files in the MMRPro.com system. What is exciting is the opportunity that this type of interface could bring the Company closer to offering a full blown Certified EMR.
