Gamida-Cell and TEVA are working jointly on developing stem cell technology for curing Luekemia. Gamida is not yet public (it is a start up, quite well funded though, part of Elscint (remember those guys, they used to be leaders in MRI, but dropped out and used the money to go into "the Hotel/Motel" business in Europe). They have a venture fund funding medical development. One of these is working with GE on focused ultrasound (probably multi orthogonal beams, a development started a long time ago at the University of VT) to ablate selectively tissues (mostly cancer but also uteral fibrosis) within the body.
