the best is that go800 is universal, while this is too specific. i think once our wildfire burns, companies will want to use go800, as it hopefully has become a household name.

I tend to agree with you that the technology this company uses is broadly available and is already in use. The ability to make this firmly proprietary and defensible against others doing the same or similar thing seems problematic at best, impossible at worst. GOIG cannot compete legally or financially with a google or comcast. The questions always remains the same: Is this something that people really want? If so, are they willing to pay for? The answers have not become clear yet. Just because a product or service "works" or just because it seems like a better mousetrap doesn't really mean doodley squat.
