It is about knowing what you own and if it is still a gem. It is all a new decision on every buy or sell. Yesterday is already gone and we should decide what to do based on the now and our perception of the future IMO. I really don't care what "average" I have - I firstly don't want to lose money and secondly I want to make the most out of my investments, regardless of where I invest.
