Evidently your rule of, "NEVER, NEVER rely on a penny stock for retirement," is being violated ... by the looks of the amount of shares owned by various board members.

In reality, all one is doing by investing in GDHI is giving money away when there are legitimate companies out there that could be good investments for you. IMO, GDHI is not an investment, its not even a gamble; its a donation.
