I'm with ya. i remember i was stationed at ft Leavenworth for only a few months and bamm i came down on orders for a infantry division in Alaska i was like oh shit this is going to suck lol.

my first sergeant said scup you can deny these orders upon my request because you haven't been at you permanent duty station long enough. well of course i didn't want to be out in the snow 10 months out of the year i said get me out of it and they did. the following year bamm south Korea only 30 miles or so from the DMZ lol.
