Hi Qarel,

I see. It's a big subject.

Sagan started to think about messages, because he was involved in the Voyager(?) project, the space vehicle that had that golden plate on it, with a description of humans, the location of earth etc. Then he was thinking about others sending messages to us and what are the possibilities.
