Received this email the other day from " Emma's " family. Emma is doing Great. They live way up in Northern MN. I guess in the morning when they let the dogs out to go Potty, Emma runs out, does her Business, then right back in the house. It's getting cold way up there...
I then called the Family yesterday and they said, Emma has totally bonded with Willow, the Vizsla Mix. Now their other dog Lenny, Lab Mix, tolerates Emma in doses...,,,, but they all Love to run together...Emma is around 18 lbs. now and will truly stay a Runt. I am guessing she will Max out at around 22 lbs....Breezy her Mom is 34 lbs....{:>)))

Emma is doing so well. I think we must have gotten the sweetest Whippet. She loves her walks and being outside. She loves all types of pieces of wood and birch bark. She also gets extremely worked up making her little nests for laying in. Do your Whippets too? Yes we do carry a pistol when we walk in woods in case of wolves, but we have lived here many years and I walk every day and have only seen wolves a couple of times. I don't think I have ever seen a Bear in the woods up here I think they prefer to avoid people except when they want to get in your garbage. I noticed Emma gets cold if its chilly in the morning when we walk. So sometimes we have to put 2 coats on her.
