why do a forward split if not trying to bring add'l shareholder value as stated in the PR when the FS was announced

But can you give me one example of a sub penny or penny pink stock that has given shareholder value via something the company did?
A forward split is dilution and dilution has NEVER been good for a common shareholder.
No news and no divvy for everyone in a week after the date does look more like the company thing than any one else.
