I was thinking of opening another account also.. It would be good to have two different brokers.. Mine is still linked to my BofA account so it is definately convienent. I don't like that I have to call in to buy more than 100,000 shares.. at ATNPs current price, that is $30 bucks worth.. I haven't tried since it swithed to merril lynch, but hopefully that restriction is no longer there.

Can't you just transfer your holdings? Other brokers allow you to do that
