WLD, you're forgiven for not remembering that I bought shares here at $76.78, as posted.

Meantime, could I interest you in some shares in a diamond mine? Cheap at only $.0002 a share. Just think how many you could buy on a CompUSA salary.

Scroll down. Some of the graphics are actually quite good.

Of course I don't suggest you read all the posts there -- most are a prodigious waist of time -- just you know who's. The breadth of knowledge displayed regarding geological and mining issues is really quite stunning.

I look forward to the same newly welcomed intelligence being brought to bear on the AAPL board.

Maybe you can take him under your wing?

What the...?

The question wasn't: "do most here own aapl?"

or even: "do many here own aapl"?

(nor: "is the bias shifting from long to short?" ...or some such subtlety.)

It was posted simply as: "does anybody here own aapl?"

As Mr. Probability you must admit that, even without reading any messages, there's really only one answer you'd expect to this question.

(Perhaps the question needs to be re-phrased?)

thanx for sharing

Well, having sold some aapl and energy, I am 45% cash now in the self-managed account and near catatonic when it comes to investment decisions :).

But, I suspect that I will increase miners some and hold onto some cash....but this is me at my most vulnerable for making dumb decisions *laugh*, I have a historic bias against just letting cash sit in a money market fund - though there have been times when that would have been wiser.

I own no AAPL stock, preferring to learn a bit before I decide to enter the world of investing in single stocks. At any rate, I'm very long term oriented with retirement money in mind; I keep my Roth maxed every year, my 401k at 15%, any extra dough goes into one of 5 aggressive mutual funds I've got. I also own a lot of stock in my employer but now is not the time to sell it.

I've been a loyal Apple fan for many years and this plus the fact that AAPL doesn't behave like other tech stocks is the reason I read and post here.
