If you go several years back on GVDI, Adavco loaned them a good deal of money and it was repaid several times, they seem liquid. Only deal I could find that was public from them was a land flip, 9 months, profit of $1,000,000. Very hard to find private deals.

This one is quite intriguing, I can't find anything at all on this 2385 acre parcel.

The property is a 2,385 acre ranch located just beyond the city boundary of Bakersfield, California. Approximately 90 minutes north of Los Angeles, Bakersfield is rapidly growing due to its lower cost of living and higher quality of life. The parcel has magnificent views towering 600 to 2,000 feet above greater Bakersfield. This elevation provides climatic relief during the hot Bakersfield summers. ALF believes that the property is positioned to be the premier location for higher priced homes within this fast growing market.

The strategic plan for this parcel is to obtain entitlements for paper lots. These will be sold to developers who will install the requisite infrastructure and develop / sell to builders. Management is analyzing several alternatives for the best use of the property, which includes clustering pads of high density in relatively flat portions of the property and placing larger estate lots near the top of the property's ridge and in other selected areas.
