Because he wasn't done diluting. Then, I always surmised that he would reverse split to wipe out the shareholder base and start fresh. Also, I think imho that as he added to the fantastic story, it just grew and grew, as it had to in order to sell more shares (dilute). The it became a huge tangled mess of lies, and Dean found himself with a "Tiger By the Tail". Greed will do that to a person. However, this power struggle imho wasn't seen coming by Dean. All imho of course.
