If I had to guess a reason for the change:

A) it was the result of a bankruptcy of the prior company.
B) or the other co-founder, Stanley Altschuler, retired or left the company and Richard Cooper decided to rebrand the existing company or form a completely new one by letting everyone else go.

I'm guessing the latter.

Way to go POW! I personally don't any issues at all! Richard Cooper and Stanley Altschuler Co-Founded Strategic Growth International together beginning in 1989. My understanding is that after period of time Cooper and Altschuler saw things very differently with Cooper wanting to take things in new directions including Branding.

No issue with that in my mind whatsoever and as I understand it Cooper was the bigger more recognized player and previously was a long time major player with a role and big experience with Solomon Brothers as a very senior Managing Director. Solomon Brothers ultimately got bought out and are now owned as I understand it by Citicorp after some a series of other acquisitions by other company's and after continued major growth.

I could be mistaken but I believe that Strategic Growth no longer exists while having hundreds of notable clients with many Contracts closed even earlier this year. With that in mind other notable facts including your own note about Jennifer Zimmons also being part of the Coopers Company it is also very possible and don't be surprised if that in effect the company's are one and the same with Cooper choosing to use his name in the future Branding of the company for future brand and personal recognition and as well making the brand more distinct.

The good news or great news as I see it is aside from the Company and its name and a still very successful recent past with itself great experience Cooper use to be a top dog at one the largest Investment Banks in the world! My bet and understanding is he still is very well connected and very good at what he does including connecting good or great company's and ideas with cash and strategic backing.

It's all good the way I see it and definitely fantastic for POW! Either way Cooper continues to be a very well respected heavy hitter with great ties to the Public Relations, Communications and Investment community. Big things coming for POW! the way I see it!

Go POW!
