In an interview last week, Oliver Evanshen, who does investor relations for WordLogic, said it presented its product to Google about nine months ago to demonstrate how its predictive text software could speed up Google’s search engine.

“They appeared not to be interested and then, lo and behold, they come out with this new product.”

He said WordLogic’s patents are very detailed and go back to 2007. The company has made public claims related to the technology since 1999.

“It’s not going to be a quick read-through to figure out where we stand and where [Google is] in infringing on that particular space,” said Oliver Evanshen. “For me to definitely say what were going to do with this – it’s just too early to say.”

Very nice, the word is spreading far beyond the walls of IHUB. It wont be long before these prices are a thing of the past and were on the train heading North.
