Meaning can they come out with saying they filed for it but you had to be a share holder since 2007?

FINRA would not be happy about that. And they've already said that the record date will be in the future.

Not a stupid question. I would call my broker for exact understanding of how it works and read up. It appears we still have time to accumulate shares to qualify.. Double check!!!
