IMO any claim that drilling will start this year is totally unrealistic. Even for an experienced operator (which Empire is not) it takes a minimum of 3 months to mobilise a rig from the US, import it into Australia, get it certified and spud the well. In Empires case it would not be surprising if this process takes 6 months. If Empire do not get money in the bank to pay for the rig in the next couple of months there is a very real chance they may not be ready to spud Bellevue before MRT's deadline.
