well, posting a debatable premise about it as fact is not a good way to avoid debates on it. For one thing, saying that atheism is a religion is not exactly a premise accepted by many; in particular atheists. Atheists don't believe in magical beings and rules supposedly put forth by them. They tend to believe that good personal ethics are an end unto themselves. And they don't have to financially support people in robes to feel good about doing good deeds. But that is your right, and i respect that.

If you wish to post about the superstitions of your religion, then please start out by explaining why some of its strongest tenets are the rules that support overpopulation which leads in turn to more income for the "celibate" class. And that some old retread Nazi is the voice of your god on earth.

I don't want to debate it either. And i won't, as it is pointless since it is a belief system and not one based upon logic.
