very nice find i think he is right on track with the mining companies, i have been looking for them my self and that is what i want to trade on. before long that will be the only sector in my account.

bigstockandbonds: yes we could have a good run on copper and I think we will over the next two years is should move up substantially for a couple of reasons

1. supply / demand, although the world 'engine' is slowed with this recession in North America other parts of the world are still requiring increased demand in the product. I like base metals more than gold, although the talk of gold over $3,000 and silver to $164 per ounce is futuristic it could happen.

2. The debt, like any business that takes on too much debt it's individual parts become worth less. Dollars or shares it does not matter both will have to see a decrease in value, therefore be worth less.

My long term investments are going in the ground, many others are too, and currently I hold less than 5% of any stocks that are above ground. Hope that helps
