I agree, Headley, with almost all you've written though i still think there's a certain small percentage--perhaps just a tiny percentage-- of the shorts who want CCME to fail simply b/c it is a China co. "taking investor money away from American cos." (That's the "conspiracy #2" from my earlier post, conspiracy #1 being the gang of shortsellers merely trying to profit on the downside and maybe later the upside.)

Mgmt thus far has been pretty good about listening to us, and b/c so many of us (including those holding much more shares than my 30k shares) have expressed a desire for a dividend, i'm fairly sure we'll get one, hopefully a qrtrly one so that the first payout day comes sooner than later! :-)

I think CCME is in the catbird seat right now and is quite content to let the pps wallow around for a while, so it can buy back MORE shares and thus pay out FAR LESS for the dividend.
