Well so far Rusty I see drugs as potential topical treatments currently under investigation. Topicals include foscarnet cream and a topical gel of anti CMV drug cidofovir. One other which IS used for herpes eye infections is trifluridine which is also being researched for use on skin.
So far just drugs. No RNA or DNA found other than CYGX.
