You should go to the PCIO and MJNA boards and read the posts by MadDogs...he is so educational...anything and everything you want to know about the history of the hemp prohibition is there. I just can't remember what days he posted...just look through I believe the month of August so much information and why it all happened. Hemp growing is illegal in the U.S. Canada is making a killing as they are allowed to grow it and then sell it to the U.S. Their industry would die if it became legal to grow in the U.S. All marijuana is hemp, but not all hemp is marijuana. The U.S. does not even allow industrial (non-marijuana) hemp to be grown. Go to Youtube and look up Judge Jim Gray and his stance on the drug war if you want to get educated about this subject...all very enlightening. I stopped by a hemp educational center here in Los Angeles after I began investing in this sector and told them I voted for the legalization of medicinal marijuana in 1996, and that sometimes I regret it because I saw how it became abused by the youth having access to it via an RX. He said to absolutely not feel that way because I did the youth a favor. The stuff sold in the dispensaries is clean...whereas the stuff coming across the border is grown with pesticides, wet down to roll, then wet again to compress even more to get it across the border. He said you should see the stuff that comes...it has rat droppings all over it..and this is what the youth inhale. Prohibition does not work...never has.
