wanaB, I have no idea really. I think people who bought in recent days were up huge and figured they would cash in on their profits as soon as it ended and started going the other way. And that is exactly what happened as they were "laughing all the way to the bank". Was it an orchestrated manipulation? That possibility is beyond my knowledge.
Now feeling in the mood to make a positive post, first the disclaimer from BigB that let them first follow through successfully with one thing. A powerful critique. There has been a pattern of "dreaming big". True, to date, these dreams did not work out but that is not to say that there was not a rational basis for thinking that what they have would be big one day. I think it is still the case. Of course, given the history, my enthusiasm should be more tempered. The matter is not so actionable for me because I am in it for the long term after owning the stock about 13 years (I had thought fifteen on other occasions). The latest "extravaganza" is this new direction into the energy field, clean energy. They have made public very little detail about this and it seems, with the promise of revenue in this area by year's end, that we will soon know a little more. They probably feel they have good reason to play their cards tight to the vest. It sounds like a long term investor, a friend of the longs here, was very turned off by this new direction. I, on the other hand, while being cautious, think it is for real and, as I wrote originally, will, by itself make me rich some time in the next several years.
Unlike many on this board, I go on the assumption that the people involved are not scamsters. I have that conclusion based on the caliber of the science people involved and my long experience with the company despite the fact that things have not worked out to date and that there have been big failures. Another amazing thing is that they keep trying, are not ready to give up. I find that admirable. Also weeks ago on this board, I fantasized about the moment, that eureka moment when somebody realized that (all conjecture here), that we can burn the stuff and make cars go. That factory might one day come into existence. The low cost of our patented process (synDNA), the material used for the vaccines and perhaps for fuel too (conjecture), is going to be the breakthrough that was promised originally. Of course, all this speculation is based on very thin amounts of information but I really intend it as a prediction for the future. I say now that this energy thing is for real and that it is going to be huge. So there it is, my pumper post of the day.
