I've thought about picking up some SGI and some Cray. Holding off on SGI because I can't find out more information about who fabs their SHUB/SHUB2 ASICS. I know it was IBM in the past but don't know about now. IBM hurt Cray big time with the roll out of their X1E line. IBM had problems fabbing the MCMs of the X1E. Cray now is moving over to TI to do their fabbing. I was holding off on Cray because I was just afraid all there military orders going away. Most of my fears have been alleviated by the recent comments from Cray. They basically said that the government agencies that they depend on did *good* on funding. Maybe this is why we are seeing some more orders coming through?
