I'm not an atty but I believe that if it's a conference requested by the judge, they would be foolish to do so, if they are even allowed. Judges are shrewd peeps; they deal with the likes of these characters all the time. One wrong move and the judge could make it difficult for them.

rocco2: JUDGE wants them to settle FAST. That is why the discovery day is tomorrow. Confidant that "LBSR" wants to have this over with with no defect on them. ALPHA it appears wants to get anything the COURT will hand to them. ALPHA wants to supress certain evidence which could be shown before a JURY,insurance that things are more likely to go their way. Lastly the JUDGE can throw it in the can. ALPHA may noshow. "LBSR" will press on with it as it is in our best interest as well. Alpha wont have to ask for continuance, it is likely that if there is no settlement tomorrow, we will see this hang over us a bit longer. Myself would love to see this dissapear tomorrow. From doing technical leagleze WORD interpertatios tonite, I discovered that ALPHA imo: does not meet the leagleze definition necessary to see this past tomorrow. Four conditions are needed, not one of their factoids fit. But they have 30 minutes of INFAMY so let them gloat in it for the short lived thrill they are expecting. Lastly it is in the power of the JUDGE to say that this case will be QUASHED by HIM as they have failed to meet the 4 criteria. IF you know law, you know the 4 conditions. GAME ON!!!!!!!
