Bravada Vata clothing line is exclusive and co-branded with the manufacturer, and sells hand-picked exclusive Bravada Vata designs, and has a far wider, and much better (IMHO) clothing collection to choose from. In addition to the many exclusive clothing pieces, they also have available the other pieces that other stores can carry, to curb any 'bleeding' of sales elsewhere. Bravada is the only seller that has exclusive rights to use television, magazines, and other media to advertise any Vata clothing. Bravada is the only seller who has celebrities sponsoring and endorsing their exclusive line, directing all consumers directly to Bravada Vata products, sold at Bravada Women's Athletica. Additionally, we were told in a recent conference call to expect an exclusive 'celebrity' line soon, that's in the works.

yes they have an "exclusive marketing agreement" for distribution "for the direct response marketing vehicle."

the way i understand this is noone else can use television, magazines, or other media to sell vata by direct response marketing. the manufacturer itself sells some clothing directly but if you check their prices they are not competetive and i don't think they are trying to be - bravada undercuts their prices in every clothing category. bravada is the brand kim kardashian is promoting - all ads and links involving kim point straight to bravada. this is a form of direct response marketing, using a celebrity endorsement through tv and magazines to direct buyers to bravada websites. home shopping networks are another form of direct response marketing. bravada also has rights to develop an exclusive "premiere" line with vata designers. also from the following PR, bravada is selling quite a few exclusive designs:

According to the following key PR released on 9/10/09, there will be 3 categories of VATA products. The way I understand this, the 3rd category is the ONLY category that is not EXCLUSIVE, and the reason for that is to curb any "bleeding" of sales if someone wants to purchase a clothing piece not offered in the other two MFLI exclusive collections.
