After reading some of your posts quite a few months ago, I started investing in silver proofs...anything the Cnadian mint has produced and offered to the public that is silver....and I have been buying up US Silver proof mint sets and coins as often as I can , and if I think I am making a good deal....I can see some of these things appreciating in value far better than bullion although I do love my bullion and will continue with those purchases a swell....it is just a little more difficult for me, being that I am in Canada and I have to also watch the exchange rates when I am buying and also because I am limited on the number of brokerages that will ship to Canada....on some of my orders, a few cents on the dollar can make a big difference....and then the very next day it will bounce back and that has an effect on my mood....LOL I have been spending a lot more time on coins an bullion in the last while as I am trying to increase my holdings to at least 35%....I just think it is the right thing to do under the current economic turmoil, not just in the US but in all European and even most Asian countries...the silver stock piles are all depleted and just the industrial usage will create more demand....with all the new demand in the medical field coming soon....well Jeeez I sure wish I could find myself a new silver mine....LOL
