Bargain haunting? Who writes this stuff? Bargain haunting was back in year 2000. I still love the safe heaven saying. Lets say the economy goes down the drain, you think gold would save you. I don't think so. If you want to prepare for severe economic hardship. You buy a farm or you buy jewelry. Those two things help you survive in bad economic times. I doubt you will be able to sell your brick of gold in those situations.
