XBlade, I am sorry to inform you, but int he past, when MM's and/or their clients were more than willing to sell shares that they owned, borrowed, or never cared to borrow and sell, I had no problem buying. I am sure many other "enthusiastic" investors could attest to my sentiments.
One should not have to place an electronic online order and "then" call his/her broker to force the trading desk to execute the trade.
Something doesn't add up. Chances are float is getting tighter and tighter.
