how does he account for what he has done in the past?


During our phone conversation, FWIW we briefly discussed this. The future of DMGM was a bit more important so that's what I focused on.

He explained to me that, a couple of years ago, the company was headed in the right direction. His health(he's 83, pretty old), the economy and, some deals that had gone sour forced the company to take the direction it did.

He says he's been working on this deal for quite some time.

3 years ago Leo was ok and he ment well and would have done well (both him and the handful of people with him) He would have done well for himself and the investor. But the housing industry turned bad and he got in a bad spot like everyone in that sector. As he became pressed for money he turned against the investor, and he turned sour. There is more to the story, but that is the high point.
