I can tolerate with flippers/day traders/swing traders but not with MM's manipulations/shorters.
Go to interactive brokers, you can short any stock, if you do orgainsed shorting/orgainised pumping(smallcapnetwork.com, streetsweeper.com, Melinda Davis). I hate them.

SEC is doing trial run on stopping the trading if a stock falls 10% or more for blue chip stocks. Once it is successful, they plan to extend it to other stocks too (even OTC and pink sheets)
More transperency is yet to come. Also soon, Market Makers will be gone. They are working on that too. More transparent way of trading.
