I still don't buy it and won't buy it that MM's are secretly shorting EVERY stock. It may not be 50% or more but regardless of the percentage it's not happening the way people are saying it is.
It's ludicrous to believe that anyone of any entity is shorting a stock that much.
That data is incomplete anyways and is irrelevant to the average investor and thus why I argue it.
You are trading a stock based on the company ethics, fundamentals and product acceptance. Basing your trade on numbers that mean nothing in the grand scheme of the company is just...silly.
That old wives tale has been circulating for over a decade as an explanation for dilution in the OTCs. It's usually seen on the boards of companies that are on the verge of going extinct. People need to ask themselves why this problem only plagues the non reporting companies in the unregulated markets and gagged TAs. People do themselves a huge disservice not getting the whole picture and swallowing propaganda hook line and sinker.
