This is good advice that i will be needing due to the shares i have collected over the past 2 months or so. Great reminder Howard and i will be looking into it. I live in Ontario Canada. Are any longs from Canada and know what we have as options to shelter capital gains or other ideas to such as putting shares into our children (no income) or our spouse (spouse with no income)names etc?

i think its very clear...

regarding tax losses(eegc, and stocks in general)...3000$/yr carryforward, for a lifetime, will be the case for many eegc shareholders...

let us know in a few months if that rule changes....

REAL money/REAL rig...enough said...

seems very logical to me...

Howard,

Good points to think about: TAXES! I have an accountant that does a good job every year in itemized deductions. I will look into the points you made and act accordingly.
