When Bella Viaggio changed to Kat Gold this week, they announced it on the blog before it was updated on the daily list. I would guess we'll get similar announcement when the ticker symbol changes.
Again, symbol changes do not happen intra day. They ALWAYS take effect the next trading day. So if the symbol change is going to happen today, it wont actually change until monday morning before the markets open.
