I don't give up as I know I'm right and you are wrong on the interpretation of the short data.

Come on..think about it.

If EVERY MM shorted EVERY penny stock 50% or more EVERY day...don't you think there would be regulatory action against it? I would think so..

So, to me that means that data is NOT short positions but simply the way they label the trade data during the leg of a trade.

So many people think that EVERY penny stock is shorted...seriously now
