az2820 I just want to compliment

the person who came up with the idea of the circular planters made from the brick. I am a fanatic when it comes to making things "one off" from the standard way of doing things. Yesterday I fixed the dealy that is used to carry those 1800# round bales from storage out to the pasture with my old tractor....

My cousin's husband was using the tractor; and, he is a novice. So, after I finished the project of pulling some large branches off of the myriad of pine trees we have on the place, I got on the tractor with him to carry off those branches to my "burn pile". I forgot the fork was attached to my front end loader's bucket when we dumped the branches, and that silly fork sticking out there hit the pile of tree trunks and broke right off. I decided to fix it; and, it was one of my "one off" projects. It now is stronger, prettier and made entirely of pieces of steel that I have around the place for my varied projects. I probably have about 30 to 100 ton's of what most people would call 'scrap steel' at the yard.... I would not let anyone other than family touch my 'scrap'; but, I have found that only family asks me for any of that steel, so it is a mute point.

Anyhow, az, I picked up six of those plastic planters that are about 3 feet in diameter, and 2 feet tall from a Shell gas station they were demolishing, and I never used them, because I thought the white platic was a little much. But now that I have seen your planters, I am going to pick up the scrap brick that will be left from the new house my son is having built, and I am going to duplicate your planters.... Such a deal.... Maybe the son would like a couple on his patio. Maybe I can get off cheap on a house warming gift. LOL.

PS. Flowers are breathtaking... You did well.
