LA PAZ, Bolivia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 8, 2005--Franklin Mining, Inc. (OTC Pink Sheets: FMNJ) geologist Roberto Rocha Herrera announced, "My initial assessment of gold reserves at the Mayaya-1 Project are very positive. I have prepared a report to be released Wednesday which will detail production goals and equipment requirements."

Franklin Mining, Inc. CEO Jaime Melgarejo stated, "Ing. Herrera's initial survey showed that the tenor is much higher than we expected at this well, confirming our optimistic outlook for the mine."
