I think that is the best way to do it. Personally, I have never made a video and I don't spend a lot of time watching them. I usually watch guitar lessons or some music videos...as I like to play a little myself. I have no doubt that people who would place there videos on youtube wouldn't do the same with TT. But it will take some time.
Back to spreading the word! As most people, I don't like pushy sales people, so why should I force my friends to try and watch something that they don't enjoy viewing. Let people decide for themselves. I showed my wife the cat video and she thought it was hilarious as well.
