You might look at the Veterans Administration.

Right now they have a NATIONAL Suicide pervention hotline.

It would probably help the Vets a lot if they could just text a word to get through, ====> instead of that long `1-800 number they have to know."

text 'talk' to 46800 is now reserved. I will call them tomorrow.

"Do we want to let the distraught to have to rely soley on remembering a phone number when we can also provide them a "text to connect" capability? Don't we need to afford these individuals, above all, with every chance to connect that technology enables?"
