Isn't that the difference between alot of foreign (Japanese) companies vs american companies? American companies are about maximizing profits now, give us the most shareholder return now, and who cares about the future.

We can see what happened when you look the failures of the automakers.

Then you look at some Japanese companies who have LONG term plans out to 10 years, knowing the value WILL be there.

I expect to see this post flagged as OT, but I thought I'd chime in.

Not to mention that the A/S will be decreased by 4B when approved. That is very significant to me. Jerry listens to the shareholders. Can't wait until the announcment that says the reduction is approved and the first billion is gone.
