"Increased survival" is the phrase used by biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical companies when presenting their new anti-cancer drugs for FDA approval consideration. This seems to be a powerful criterion for the FDA when they measure the effectiveness of potential anti-cancer drugs. Please notice that EntreMed is using "increased survival" in the titles of two of their poster presentations this Friday at the Antiangiogenesis conference. This phrase is used to describe the results of their anti-cancer vaccine and to describe the results of their new Panzem analogue 833. Please draw your own conclusions. Panzem is here.
