My thoughts on the high turnover in the CFO's in our space, is that the title CFO is a bit too loosely thrown around in our space.. Most of these folks strictly crunch numbers and do the accounting part of the CFO role. In larger companies, CFO's look at the uses of capital, and how to maximize return on all available capital, as well as working with banks to get loans (which we know isn't being done by in of our companies CFO's!)...much more than just crunching numbers and spitting out 10Q's.. I think they'd be better served by giving the CFO title to the CEO, and keeping there glorified accountants anonymous..

CFO's - I figured that Accounting skills + Business Sense + Well spoken English are fairly rare and sought after. Leading to poaching and high turnover.

I have no justification for this statement.
