There has also been talk about first and second quarter results coming out. I agree that there won't be much there, but it may be more then just the 2009's.

Because they are also doing the financials for the quarters this year ending June 30th, 2010 from what I understand.

Depends if you seal a deal that makes a library value 'more' than orginally you thought based on current information. If you thought your house was worth $400,000 but never put it on the market and someone offers you $600,000 6 months later, was your original assessment valid or just an estimate?

You're right. But suppose eric conveyed the rights at the inception of HH going public. That would be 2009. It wouldn't have been made public for obvious reasons. Agreed that without the latest developments, the book value will more than likely come in where the general consensus is. However, knowing what we know now, it would be narrowed minded to overlook the corporate revelations of 2010. Those financials will be forthcoming too:)

IMHO, considering the fact that he announced in a PR the animated Terminator project, I believe he has conveyed rights to HH. HH shareholders would benefit from the results of the movie, just like other movies and projects HH is working on.

As far as the rights being incorporated into the value of the company, I am not talking past financial statement values (2009 or before) but current value(2010) which should contain the value of the rights based on the fact that he PRd a project using the rights for HH.

Speaking of GAAP, the animated film rights are considered an intangible asset.

General principle for recognising intangible assets

The entity shall recognise an intangible asset as an asset if, and only if:

1. it is probable that the expected future economic benefits that are attributable to the asset will flow to the entity;
2. the cost or value of the asset can be measured reliably ( other companies have sold film rights so IMHO it can be measured)
